In 1963, Tulane's athletics director and bookstore manager jointly decided it was time to change mascots, away from their original surfing Pelican. When they made the change, they hired none other than Angelus Pacific's Arthur Evans, considered the G.O.A.T. in mascot design. He did not disappoint, coming up with Tulane's "Green Wave", printed here holding a pennant, on a pennant.
Each pennant measures 9" x 27", printed and sewn by Oxford Pennant.
