Lovely and wearable, this pair of womens vintage shoes has it all- black silk faille on the back of the shoe, interesting black suede uppers with ribbon trim that intersect at the cutouts on the vamp; oxford styling with original laces, and a pretty curved heel.
They almost look two-toned because of the contrast in the silk and suede. Oh, and add an open toe ,or "peep-toe" to that, and - Viola! The perfect shoe! This one is from the 1930s or maybe early 1940s, and look a lot like the shoes I recently saw in the movie "Hugo". They are perfectly wearable.They have their original box, from Walker T. Dickerson Co.
